The Car Decrypter has officially graduated from beta. What started as an internal tool for our development team is now available to all NHC members.

 

For those unfamiliar: Assetto Corsa encrypts car data inside .acd files, locking down physics configs, engine curves, and tuning parameters behind a wall that most players never get past. The Car Decrypter cracks that wall open.

 

What It Does

 

The decrypter uses a brute-force approach to crack encrypted data.acd files, extracting every INI config, physics file, and tuning parameter into readable, editable formats. Once extracted, you can:

 

• Modify engine torque curves and power delivery
• Adjust suspension geometry and damping rates
• Change tire grip models and thermal behavior
• Edit aerodynamic coefficients
• Rebuild the .acd file with your modifications

 

Use Any Car, Anywhere

 

The real power of the decrypter isn't just editing — it's portability. Decrypted and modified cars can be loaded onto any server, including ones that normally restrict custom content. Combined with our bypass module, your modified vehicles appear as standard cars to server-side validation.

 

This means you can run your custom-tuned builds on competitive servers, public lobbies, or private sessions without restriction. The car you built is the car you drive, everywhere.

 

Availability

 

Tier 0+ — The Car Decrypter is available to all members, including invited Tier 0 users. It's part of the core TEAMLOCKPICK software suite.

 

Access it through the NHC desktop client under Tools → Car Decrypter, or launch it standalone from the LOCKPICK: Garage application.
